Lodge Lachlan-Jemalong
No 46, United Grand Lodge of N.S.W. & A.C.T


HISTORY OF THE LODGE:
Lodge Lachlan, No 583 was established on the 22 December 1875 under a Charter from the Grand Lodge of Scotland.

On the 1 October 1888 the Lodge held its first meeting under a new Charter from the newly formed United Grand Lodge of New South Wales.

The 10 December 1949 saw the establishment of a second Lodge in Forbes named Lodge Jemalong, No 798 on the register of the U.G.L. of N.S.W.

On the 6 May 1986 Lodge Lachlan and Lodge Jemalong consolidated and formed a combined Lodge Lachlan-Jemalong No 46, U.G.L. of N.S.W.

WHERE DOES THE LODGE MEET?:
Masonic Centre, Lachlan Street, Forbes.
Just down from the Albion Hotel and on the opposite side to the Post Office.


WHEN DOES THE LODGE MEET?:
     On the First Tuesday in the months of:
     February, March, April, May, June, July, August, October, November and December at 7.30pm.
     (Note : No meeting in January or September)
     Installation Meeting held on the last Saturday in the month of August at 4.00pm.
